Things for Fashion Lovers 2 do in NY!

Hello! I'm heading back home (New York) on Wednesday and I was thinking about some of the things I'm going to do while I'm up there. Of course check out the great stores (which are becoming tourist sites in itself!) But checking out some museums and restaurants. Let me start with the stores like Armani on 5th Avenue the store is 43,000 square feet of Doriana Fuksas-designed glass structure housing all 6 of his collections. InStyle magazine listed 6 surprises you will find at this store. 1) There is a chocolate department. 2) There is a restaurant and bar on the top floor. 3) The staff speaks a combined 20 languages! 4) The store offers concierge services. 5) The most expensive item is a crocodile messenger bag for $38,000 (geez!) 6) They have a floating staircase that is made of steel and whit plastic! Now museums, The Metropolitan Museum of Art has an exhibit called The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion. It focuses on iconic models of the twentieth century and their roles in projecting, and often inspiring, the fashion of their eras. The exhibition, organized by historical period from 1947 to 1997, will feature haute couture and ready-to-wear masterworks accompanied by fashion photography and video footage of models. Another exhibit you can check out for free is the museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I can't wait to New York to check these places out and many more!
