For the 50th Anniversary of Barbie they had a big fashion show in honor of the O.B.D (Original Barbie Doll) during New York's fall fashion week. Michael Kors, Rachel Roy, Alexander Wang, and Kimora Lee Simmons were some of the 50 designers asked by the CFDA to design outfits for the show and Christian Louboutin designed the shoe (Barbie's Pink Peep Toe Pumps). Looking at the pictures from the fashion how the designers really bought Barbie to life and put a modern edge on her in some designs.
